Afghan ITT Limited (“AfghanITT”) is an entity registered in Kabul, Afghanistan, and
registered with AISA with License number D-20835 and Tax ID number 100 918
0017, with office in Kabul, Afghanistan, and future offices planned in the major
cities in Afghanistan. The company has a lot of previous experiences in providing
telecommunications solution, hardware, software, IT System Integration and after
sales services to various companies including the Presidential Office of Afghanistan,
MoH, World Bank, Afghanistan International Bank, Standard Chartered Bank,
Kandahar PRT, ROSHAN, Areeba, Etisalat, AWCC, Tolo TV Limited, LEMAR TV, Arman
FM Limited, USAID, Ministry of Finance, DasNet, ISAF, Bagram Air Base US Military,

audio/video broadcasting manufacturer and solution provider namely Tandberg,
Sonifex, AKG, JBL, Harman Pro, Tascam, Tannoy, Ross Video, Sovereign, WinRadio
and other leading manufacturers in the market. We are also the exclusive agent for
MGE UPS, which is the largest 3-Phase UPS company in the world and just recently
MGE’s parent company Schneider Electric completed the purchase of APC. Our
Afghan staff specifically trained extensively to commission same in Dubai and
France so as not to void warranty during commissioning of the same. AITT is also a
Select Certified Partner of Cisco, which is the largest company in the world supplying
active networking components , and has a number of qualified staff with CCSP,
CCNA, CCDA, CEH, MCSE and other vendor certifications and has currently have one
of our Cisco engineer working his way to CCIE certification. We are also an
authorized reseller of HP and we are proud to say that we are probably the biggest
supplier of HP gears in Afghanistan, wherein we have a special arrangement wherein
any purchases worth more than $5,000 will be delivered in Kabul FREE of shipping
cost.
Just recently we added Untangle, an open source network gateway to protect your
network from malicious attacks from internet. Also we’ve just been awarded
resellership from Open-e-com, a data storage solution software. AITT has been
operating in Afghanistan for 4 years supplying telecommunication equipment in both

Our Experience and Technical Capacity
Media
Tolo TV (www.tolo.tv) was launched in October 2004, becoming one of the first
commercial television stations to operate in Afghanistan and laying the foundation
for an accessible media outlet offering local and international news, sports, a
current affair, movies, comedy, serials, documentaries, music, children’s
programming, lifestyle and entertainment shows.
AITT has been the main technology partner for Tolo TV in the past 4 years. We are
in charge of all technical aspects of keeping Tolo TV on the air, from power/electrical
systems to computer, roll out of its transmitter network throughout the country,
broadcast/production equipments, and part supplies,. Tolo TV is only one of the first
private organizations to receive an IP Telephony solution from AfghanITT, fully
installed and configured by our professional staff.
Lemar TV (www.lemar.tv) is Afghanistan’s newest TV station and has expanded its
operations in a number of cities in the south of Afghanistan through the services
provided by AfghanITT. AITT is the main provider of site installations of towers and
transmitters in most remote parts of Afghanistan. Based on our regional and
cultural knowledge, we have been able to install and maintain Towers in otherwise
dangerous areas (so called hot zones) in Afghanistan. We have currently about 20
towers along with generators, UPSs, and cooling system needed for equipment in
each site.
Arman FM (www.arman.fm) is one of Afghanistan’s first commercial Radio station.
With 70% of the radio market , Arman is one of the most popular FM radio station
in Afghanistan.
Like Tolo TV and Lemar TV, AITT is the main technical provider for Arman FM. With
our knowledge and experience in broadcasting technologies, we have been able to
keep Arman FM on the air and assist them with all of their software and hardware
requirements since October 2002.
Yellow Pages Afghanistan (www.yellowpages.com.af) is a new company which
has set up a directory business in Afghanistan. YPA turned to AITT for a software
solution allowing their directories to be displayed on the internet and updated easily
by staff through the internet. AITT developed the back end software now driving the
website.
Reuters (www.Reuters.com) is the leading provider of information and content for
all media organizations around the world. AITT has provided UPS support services
and parts for MGE UPS products used by Reuters.
InterNews ( www.internews.org ) Internews is a global provider of news and
current affairs, documentaries and other media related films. AITT supplied
Internews with various PC hardware and software, printers and UPSs.
Government Ministries and NGOs
Afghanistan Presidential Office (www.president.gov.af) - AITT successfully
installed and trained CMS (Content Management System) for the office of president
(OoP) with specific modifications to cater for Pashto and Dari language support. Our
software development team actively took over this project from finding the proper
hosting company to completing the project by training technical and non-technical
staff.
Afghanistan Ministry of Defense with help of DasNet (www.dasnetcorp.com) -
With 18 sites for Afghanistan National Army (ANA), we have installed MGE Galaxy
5000 UPSes, Power Stabilizers, run electrical cabling, and provided power-shelters.
Over half of these sites are located in provinces.
ISAF (www.afnorth.nato.int/ISAF/) , A project financed by Kandahar PRT (Provincial
Reconstruction Team) under ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) - AITT
installed 25 workstations, three servers (mail server, file server, domain server),
CISCO firewall, CISCO switches, and SFTP structured cabling for Kandahar
Governor’s office. We also installed small MGE UPSs for each workstation based on
customer specifications. While preserving a historic building, our main challenge
was to run our network cables with minimal damage to walls.
USAID (www.usaid.gov) – AITT has provided a number of solutions to USAID
funded projects, such as wireless P2P solutions, various Cisco switches and internet
security equipment, website hosting for various ministries and similar projects.
Telecoms
Roshan (www.Roshan.af) is one of Afghanistan’s premier provider of GSM cellular
services, with over 850,000 subscribers and a network coverage of more than 150
major cities and towns. Roshan has invested $180 million in implementing and
maintaining a high quality network.
AITT provides various solutions to Roshan including the maintenance of Roshan’s
MGE UPSs and part supplies in Afghanistan and other solutions.
MTN-Areeba (www.mtn.com.af ) MTN is a new global brand which made its
appearance in the Afghanistan’s telecommunication market in July 2006. The
company, through its legal entity Areeba, won the second GSM license in Afghanistan
in July 2006. MTN’s first project has started in 1990 in Ghana then Benin following in
1999, Syria in 2001, Liberia 2002, Yemen in 2003, Cyprus and Guinea Bissau in year
2004, Guinea Conakry and Afghanistan 2006.
AITT has provided HP Servers, Printers, and MGE UPS solutions and UPS
maintenance for Areeba in Afghanistan.
Etisalat (www.etisalat.af) is the new GSM provider in Afghanistan market and one of
the biggest entity in the whole of Middle East region in terms of market
capitalization. AITT has won a contract from Etisalat to supply, install and
commission MGE UPS for their power protection requirements. AITT is also supplying
Etisalat with Cisco routers and Catalyst switches.
AWCC ( www.afghan-wireless.com) AITT has just won a contract from Afghan
Wireless Communications Company to supply, install and commission MGE UPS
system involving 40KVA parallel redundant and 40KVA Unitary system for their
telecom department. The UPS will provide AWCC stable supply of electricity to
protect their high end telecom equipment from electrical damage from power
fluctuation and power surges. We also provide service to their already existing MGE
UPS and repaired their damaged APC UPS 3 phase system.
Alcatel (www.alcatel.com) is a leading hardware manufacturer for the telecom
industry. AITT has provided Cisco equipment to Alcatel.
Banks
AfghanITT has provided Cisco and hardware support to Standard Chartered Bank ,
including routers and switches to enable interconnectivity between their branches
both domestic and abroad, it also enable the activation of various ATMs sites within
Kabul.
We have also provided MGE UPS solutions and Cisco products for the Afghanistan
International Bank and First Micro Finance Bank.
AITT is currently assisting a number of clients in this industry with IP Telephony
solutions.
Embassies
AITT has been the main supplier of a number of Embassies in Afghanistan, providing
hardware products, such as HP and PepLink devices for redundant ISP services, as
well as power solutions such as MGE UPS systems and Cisco switching and firewalls
for networking and security.
Private Entities
AITT has provided support and hardware to a number of companies such as Neda,
Supreme Group, Afghan Scene Magazine, Barbud Music Limited, Aria Production,
VENCO, Contrack International, AFC and various other entities in Afghanistan and
