AITT has provided servers, printers, and MGE UPS solutions and maintenance for Areeba in Afghanistan.

Roshan (www.Roshan.af) is one of Afghanistan's premier provider of GSM cellular services, with over 850,000 subscribers and a network coverage of more than 150 major cities and towns. Roshan has invested $180 million in implementing and maintaining a high quality network.

AITT provides various solutions to Roshan including the maintenance of Roshan's MGE UPSs and part supplies in Afghanistan and other solutions for SMS and IVR projects in Afghanistan.

Media

Tolo TV (www.tolo.tv) was launched in October 2004, becoming one of the first commercial television stations to operate in Afghanistan and laying the foundation for an accessible media outlet offering local and international news, sports, a current affair, movies, comedy, serials, documentaries, music, children's programming, lifestyle and entertainment shows.

AITT has been the main technology partner for Tolo TV in the past 4 years. We are in charge of all technical aspects of keeping Tolo TV on the air, from power/electrical systems to computer, roll out of its transmitter network throughout the country, broadcast/production equipments, and part supplies, AITT has been the main technology partner for Tolo TV. Tolo TV is only one of the first private organizations to receive an IP Telephony solution from AfghanITT, fully installed and configured by our professional staff.

Lemar TV (www.lemar.tv) is Afghanistan's newest TV station and has expanded its operations in a number of cities in the south of Afghanistan through the services provided by AfghanITT. AITT is the main provider of site installations of towers and transmitters in most remote parts of Afghanistan. Based on our regional and cultural knowledge, we have been able to install and maintain Towers in otherwise dangerous areas (so called hot zones) in Afghanistan. We have currently about 20 towers along with generators, UPSs, and cooling system needed for equipments in each site.

Arman FM (www.arman.fm) is one of Afghanistan's first commercial Radio station. With 70% of the radio market , Arman is one of the most popular FM radio station in Afghanistan.

Like Tolo TV and Lemar TV, AITT is the main technical provider for Arman FM. With our knowledge and experience in broadcasting technologies, we have been able to keep Arman FM on the air and assist them with all of their software and hardware requirements since October 2002.

Yellow Pages Afghanistan (www.yellowpages.com.af) is a new company which has set up a directory business in Afghanistan. YPA turned to AITT for a software solution allowing their directories to be displayed on the internet and updated easily by staff through the internet. AITT developed the back end software now driving the website.

Reuters (www.Reuters.com) is the leading provider of information and content for all media organizations around the world. AITT has provided UPS support services and parts for MGE UPS products used by Reuters.

 

Governmental and Organizations

Afghanistan Presidential Office (www.president.gov.af) - AITT successfully installed and trained CMS (Content Management System) for the office of president (OoP) with specific modifications to cater for Pashto and Dari language support. Our software development team actively took over this project from finding the proper hosting company to completing the project by training technical and non-technical staff.

Afghanistan Ministry of Defense with help of DasNet (www.dasnetcorp.com) - With 18 sites for Afghanistan National Army (ANA), we have installed MGE Galaxy 5000 UPSes, run electrical cabling, and provided power-shelters. Over half of these sites are located in provinces.

ISAF (www.afnorth.nato.int/ISAF/) , A project financed by Kandahar PRT (Provincial Reconstruction Team) under ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) - AITT installed 25 workstations, three servers (mail server, file server, domain server), CISCO firewall, CISCO switchers, and SFTP structured cabling for Kandahar Governor's office. We also installed small MGE UPSs for each workstation based on customer specifications. While preserving a historic building, our main challenge was to run our network cables with minimal damage to walls.

 

USAID (www.usaid.gov) - AITT has provided a number of solutions to USAID funded projects, such as website hosting for various ministries and similar projects.

Banks

AfghanITT has provided Cisco and hardware support to Standard Chartered Bank to enable their ATMs, including routers and switches.

We have also provided MGE UPS solutions and Cisco products for the Afghanistan International Bank.

AITT is currently assisting a number of clients in this industry with IP Telephony solutions.

Kabul bank is the largest commercial bank in Afghanistan. Having started operations on 27 June 2004, the bank has become the market leader in terms of business volume, number of branches, customer base, employees etc

Embassies

AITT has been the main supplier of a number of Embassies in Afghanistan, providing hardware products, such as HP and PepLink devices for redundant ISP services, as well ass power solutions such as MGE UPS systems and Cisco switching and firewalls for networking and security.

Private Entities

AITT has provided support and hardware to a number of companies such as Neda, Supreme, Afghan Scene, Barbud Music, Aria Production, and various other entities in Afghanistan and the region.
